ACTION PLAN

1) CALL EMERGENCY PHONE

2) LIMIT DAMAGE

1) First ensure your own and others safety.
2) Reduce the impact of damage.
3) Call out for help.
4) Secure the area if needed. 

3) FIRST AID

1) Stay in contact and follow instructions from the emergency medical services (AMK).
2) Ensure that the airways are clear.
3) Perform CPR if the injured person is not breathing, or has abnormal breathing.
4) Keep the injured person warm.

AMK can provide video calls and give you precise instructions.

4) ORGANIZE TASKS

Organize necessary tasks on site.
For example:
1) Who stays with the injured person?
2) Who meets emergency vehicles?
3) Who notifies the nearest manager?
4) Who notifies the Labour Inspection Authority and the police?


5) NOTIFY MANAGER

2) Project manager.
3) General manager.

If you cannot reach the nearest manager, you must call the next level. The general manager must always be notified.

6) NOTIFY THE POLICE AND LABOR SUPERVISION (AT)

1) Immediately report the incident to the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority (AT) on 73199700 (CLICK 3).

2) Call Police on 02800.

3) Report incident digitally (within 24 hours)  here (arbeidstilsynet.no)

Pictures or information about the accident/incident must not be posted on social media.

The police are responsible for informing both next of kin and the press in the event of serious accidents.

Only the general manager, marketing and communications manager or managing director must answer questions from the press.
