4) Ensure the correct use of protective equipment and handling of the chemicals/substances
2) GET AN OVERVIEW
Get an overview, assess the situation and its extent. Use the safety data sheet in this work (chapter 6).
3) STOP OR LIMIT EMISSIONS
NOTE: Do not perform if it puts yourself or others in danger!
1) Use absorbent material/equipment.Used materials/equipment should be stored in a closed container after use.
2) Seal any leaks
3) Avoid using water
4) ALERT 110 IN CASE OF MAJOR EMISSIONS
Information on alerting is in the safety data sheet (chapter 6).

5) ORGANIZATION TASKS
Organize necessary tasks on site.
For example:
1) Who works to limit emissions?
2) Who meets emergency vehicles?
3) Who notifies the nearest manager?

If you cannot reach the nearest manager, you must call the next level. The general manager must always be notified.

PRESS AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Pictures of the spill/incident must not be posted on social media.
The police are responsible for informing both next of kin and the press in the event of serious accidents.
Only the general manager, marketing and communications manager or managing director must answer questions from the press.
